Art Exhibition PEACE ART for the Future – Children heal their hearts by creating art
ITOCHU AOYAMA ART SQUARE will hold the "Art Exhibition PEACE ART for the Future – Children heal their own heart while drawing a picture" from March 5, 2013 (Tuesday) as a new project. This project will hold the following two art exhibitions at the same time: the "Great Earthquake, Tsunami and Heart Memories Spoken by Children's Arts," which is hosted by East Japan Support Crayon Net and which exhibits paintings of children who experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake in affected areas and explains the psychological changes expressed in each painting, and the "Mental Scenery and Signs of Presence Drawn by Children," which is hosted by Minato Ward (Disabled Persons' Welfare Section) and which brings together pictures created by children with impaired development or autism living in Minato Ward of Tokyo.
We hope that visitors will feel through the works in front of them the feelings and thoughts articulated by children through their paintings and the life force of children who benefit from the healing power of art.
